What do you do in this ‘Making a Hip Hop Beat’ lesson?
In this ‘Making A Hip Hop Beat’ lesson, we use Garageband/BandLab to create some popular hip-hop drum beats that the children can hear in songs. Exploring hip hop is a great method of capturing your classes attention on a musical genre that they may be more familiar with in their day-to-day lives. This lesson will help with both aural training and rhythmic skills, as well as giving your class the opportunity to compose using music technology.
