Fun KS1 Activity – How are the instruments played?

This is a great KS1 Activity to reinforce the learning of the instruments.

Introduce the sheet to your class and see if they can complete it! This is a great worksheet for working independently or in pairs to match the instruments to how they are played. Recognising how instruments are played is the next step in KS1 to recognising the instruments themselves and being able to name them confidently.

For more advanced students, try playing them some instrumental music without telling them the instrument and see if they can work out how it’s being played.
