What are the instrument families?
Musical instruments have been created in many different shapes and sizes to create distinct and unique sounds. They are grouped into four main families:
- Brass
- Woodwind
- Strings
- Percussion
Use these visual aids to remind your class of the various instruments that belong to each family group.
