What is music and tempo?
In simple terms, tempo is how fast or slow a piece of music is performed. When teaching your class about tempo, there are three primary ways that it is communicated to players: BPM, Italian terminology, and modern language. Use this display poster to remind your class of the differences in tempo that musical pieces can have.
