What are singing rounds?
A round is a short musical song in which multiple voices sing the same melody but start at different times. When each group of singers gets to the end of the song, they then return to the beginning and repeat it. Though the concept sounds simple in practice, singing rounds have a beautiful cyclical sound that requires concentration and focus from your students. It’s easy to get caught up in another singer’s track so prepare to practice!
