How does ‘Sort The Sounds’ work?

This resource is really easy to use! Try printing it in A2 size and place the sheet on the floor. Then get your class to explore the instruments you have to hand and place them in the correct category, is it high & loud? Or perhaps low & Quiet?

Alternatively you can print the sheets individually and do some independent learning.

For those students who are a little more advanced, why not play them a musical piece and have them determine which category would be suitable on the sort the sounds sheet.
